Thank you for choosing Beyond The Stars as one of your 2020 Competitions. We have been keeping a close eye on national and international updates about the Corona Virus (COVID-19), as the health and well-being of everyone in attendance at our events is of the utmost priority to us. Here you will find our latest event updates regarding Covid-19. We will be updating this page frequently, in addition to our social media pages, with the events that are postponed as well as extra precautions that we are taking.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

In an effort to keep everyone informed, below are the answers to some general questions concerning the 2020 Season. All information on specific Regionals will be sent to Studio Directors. Parents should reach out to their Studio Director for any questions that they should have on events or specifics.

 

1. Will you be hosting a Virtual Competition?

Not at this time. With studios being closed and having no way to practice or record their routines there really is no way. We also feel, as a company, that our customers would not receive the full Beyond The Stars experience.

 

2. Will you be rescheduling / postponing events?

At this time we have many tentative dates with venues but will wait to announce specifics until we have a better idea of the national timeline for an end to closures.

 

3. If we did not attend a Regional event, are we able to attend Nationals?

Absolutely. You will not need to attend a Regional at Beyond The Stars this year to qualify for one of our 3 National Finals.

 

4. Will you cancel the events completely if you cannot postpone?

As with most companies at this time, we are trying to extend our season through July. We are trying our best to not have to cancel any events without a rescheduled date.

 

5. We are not registered for Nationals right now – Can we attend?

Yes, however, at this time we are looking to open up additional space in all of our Nationals and also plan to host regional events during June and July.

 

6. Are we able to still purchase merchandise?

Absolutely. Please email merch@btscomp.com for all orders and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

7. Are we able to move to a future event?

Absolutely. We are doing our best to accommodate each studio request as possible. We are also working to add additional dates in late May, June and July.

 

8. Our event was postponed – Will you be rescheduling?

At this time we have many tentative dates with venues but will wait to announce specifics until we have a better idea of the national timeline for an end to closures.

 

9. If we cannot attend the rescheduled date are we able to move our entries to a future event?

All information will be sent to Studio Directors regarding this.
